Besides attendance at the Mayor Coleen Seng's Proclamation of "Cesar Chavez Day",
the Lancaster County Democrats were represented at the 3/24/04 South Omaha meeting
"Latino Empowerment in Politics", which was sponsored by the State Democratic Party,
the 3/27/04 Saturday morning meeting in support of the "DREAM Act", which was
sponsored by the Immigration Coalition, and the 4/01/04 Panel Discussion of President
Bush's Proposed Immigration Reform, which was sponsored by Citizens Against Racism and
Discrimination (CARD).
