Dear Councilmember,
The Lancaster County Democratic Party wishes to give support to allowing public comment at every city council meeting. We feel that the new plan to only allow public comment ever other week does not serve the public interest. We do recognize the difficulties of the matter and we would recommend limiting public comment to three minutes instead of five.
We also encourage the public to use the many ways they have to contact their city council representatives such as e-mail, phone and fax.
