About the Lancaster County Democratic Party


Central Committee

The Lancaster County Democratic Central Committee is the official body of the Democratic Party in Lancaster County and acts on its behalf during the interim between biannual County Conventions. Composed of approximately forty members, the Committee is empowered to enact policy, make decisions, and perform other functions or duties as defined in the bylaws.

The Central Committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 P.M. Meetings are held at the Communication Workers of America Building at 2448 "N" Street, in Lincoln. All meetings are open to the public.

 

Officers

The Executive Board, headed by the County Chair, oversees the Central Committee. The other executive officers of the Party are the First Associate Chair, the Second Associate Chair, Secretary, and the Treasurer.
